| Well, i think changing the clocks in spring shouldn´t be done any more.
But you´d still have to get up in the dark in fall!!!

| its because the school children, the reason for daylight savings time is because they dont want kids going to school in the dark. Its seems crazy, but its that simple |

| i was under the impression that daylight saving in the summer was introduced during the 2nd world war where clocks were put forward 2 hours to maximise daylight hours to help in the war effort.it stayed light untill 1100pm,to help industry ect, after the war they kept daylight saving but only for 1 hour. i could be wrong but im sure it wasnt 1972 | |

but britain decided to change to (gmt) in winter and (bst) in summer.1972.
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/337944_timeclock03.html Wintertime is what we call "Sonnenzeit" ~ 'sun time'. In winter the sun is exactly in the south at noon! During summertime it´s not. Summertime was created, so the factories can be run later without switching on the lights. Kids have always and will always go to school in the dark in winter.
