Sry that u don't see me around a lot but i really went back to my MMORPGs. That is my real world not COD and games like that but actually i will be playing black ops too just not always. Just wanted make things clear, i'm still here

Im not a COD player of this clan, but mate, play games that you really like, being forced to play just because you are in a clan is nonsense, at least on this clan i think
Anyway, same case for me, I feel a bit sorry about not playing L4D2 so much, Beastie usually invites me, but or im playing another game or I just dont have the mood to play it (sorry mate).
Dont know why but l4d is getting old and tired for me, while killing floor, payday or the haunted:hells reach is gettin my multiplayer attention.

My favourite is Killing Floor, the oldest one(2009), really challenging on the hardest difficulty, but i think you gonna love Payday, 4 players team, similar l4d gameplay, lots of fun, theres only 6 missions/maps to play, but dlc are on the way.
The haunted Hells reach is a mix of beat em up, and shooter, 3rd person way. Its about KILL KILL and KILL, just fun, better to play online with friends, its not for everyone i guess, typical game you play from time to time.

Steam games keep crashing for me randomly or even while booting a game. I downgraded my vcard driver to the earliest version i could get my hands on.

Might be my system , i just don't know. Maybe it's my OS, anyway, i guess i won't be back to any steam run game until i get a new PC, which could be a wihle. It's 3 years old only and has a brand new video card.

There are enough indie games for me to play.

have you tried deleting steam and reinstalling?

Well that's unfortunate.

Have you tried checking the local cache files for the game(s)? Usually, that fixes game hangs and other problems.

Or maybe reinstalling steam?

I'm still up for some MP Rage if you guys want to try it.

Yes, i deleted steam and after that everything worked fine, but then i reinstalled steam…

I was about to install the latest ati driver (with hotfixsuperpatch especially designed for Rage and BF3), but my collegue told me all the textures are shown blue unless you move a specific dll-file from ~\system to somewhere else, i can't be bothered to do that. For the next generation of videogames you'll need to be a rocket scientist "...Here's your new PC sir, and this is the manual on how to write yourself a working OS..."

When is it crashing Ansgar? Only when you're ingame? In steam? or even at the desktop?

My desktop is fine, only steam games crash randomly and rage when i load a campaign (single player).
